Swimming
At the very beginning of the chapter, the author described the time when she used to swim at an early age. She considered herself a sun baby and loved to swim. She was a scuba diver and she compared the ocean's surface with mercury. Susan and her friend used to stand on each other shoulder while swimming. She was a very competitive swimmer and she could swim and sun all day. Recently Susan went around a pool with some friends and tried to swim, but she noticed that, she is not strong enough to swim. After that, she returned to sit on the step and thought that her life had been changed. She thought about the situation which is out of her control and so she can,t change it. She stated going to a local Yoga. After six months, she had to leave Yoga, because she was unable to move anymore. One that her neighbor told her not to drive with her children and John agreed with the opinion. She finished the chapter by comparing herself with a prisoner whom she interviewed a few years ago. Aubrey's Birthday
In this chapter the author reviewed her memories of when Aubrey came into this world. When Aubrey was born, John and Susan chose different name from each other. Finally, they named him Aubrey.
